THE POWER OF THE ANOINTING PT 2

"And Elisha said unto her, what shall i do for thee? Tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, thine handmaid hath not anything in the house, save a pot of oil, "2 Kings 4:2.

Yesterday, we established that the anointing has the power to break yokes. What then are these yokes and burdens that the anointing is meant to destroy as seen in Isaiah 10:27?

Yoke in the above scripture Hebrew is ‘Ole’meaning to impose ones will on another. This technique is usually used on animals so they can plough the land for a farmer. The farmer by virtue of the yoke takes control over the animals and imposes his will on them. By so doing, the animals do not have a choice of their own, but must go anywhere they are directed to.
This same principle is used in the operation of spiritual yokes. The will of another is imposed on a person to the extent that life becomes difficult and unbearable for such a person.

There are three (3) forms of evil yokes. Firstly, the inherited yokes, these are burdens and yokes suffered by virtue of the actions of one’s past generations. Secondly, yokes placed by people; occultists who are envious of a person’s progress or rate of advancement and want it for themselves have been known to seek help in placing yokes on people. Thirdly, yokes placed by a person on his/herself ; by virtue of our behavior and habits we may end up placing yokes on ourselves. It could be in the form of debts, addictions, etc.

The good news is, as long as you are a child of God, you carry the anointing. It therefore does not matter what kind of evil yoke you are under, in the name of Jesus, they are destroyed now. Only the will of God will be made manifest in your life from this day forward. The anointing on your head will cause an overflow of God’s blessings in your life, it will correct every subtraction in your life.

Catholic Priest Kidnapped in Kaduna

Reverend Father Jeremiah Yakubu The pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kauru, Kaduna Municipality, Rev. Jeremiah Yakubu, was kidnapped by gunmen. Although the Kaduna police authorities have not yet commented on the incident, the Chancellor of the Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan, Rev. Emmanuel Okolo, said in a statement that Father Jeremiah was kidnapped from the parish rectory in Kauru LGA at about 11pm on Sunday. The Chancellor calls for fervent prayers for the speedy and safe release of the victim from the kidnappers and urges parishioners not to take justice into their own hands.
